How does MicroData.com use cookies?

We may use "cookies" to help create a more effective and convenient site experience. By showing us how and when visitors use the site, "cookies" help us determine which areas are popular and which are not. Many improvements and updates to the site are based on data such as total number of visitors and pages viewed. MicroData.com does not store any sensitive information in the cookie.

  • WordPress: Delivers the experience you see and interact with on our websites, for example information from registered users on our websites is stored in WordPress.
  • Mailchimp: A tool we use to deliver email content and notification to subscribers.
  • CrazyEgg: General usage statistics used to help identify areas of the site that are most used, not used, and how to make our websites easier to use.
  • Unbounce: A website testing tool that allows us to test multiple ideas at the same time to select number of visitors. For example, we may want to test a different button color to a small group of visitors and see how it performs before having all visitors use it.
Your Access to and Control Over Information

How does MicroData use my e-mail address and can I opt-out of receiving MicroData e-mail messages?

MicroData clients and guests may subscribe to a number of MicroData e-mail-based newsletters. These newsletters are by opt-in only and users may remove themselves from any mailing at any time by simply following the link in any message. Unsubscribing will not interrupt any ongoing conversations you may be having with MicroData.

  • Contacting us for support: Your e-mail address will be used to respond to your query. In some cases, we may invite you to participate in an online survey to let us know how we are doing.
  • Subscribing to the MicroData Newsletter or Blog: When you sign up for the MicroData Newsletter or Blog, your e-mail address is not used for any purpose other than to send you the newsletter or notice of a blog post on a periodic basis. You may unsubscribe from either by following the links in the Newsletter/Blog.
Security and Technical Issues

Protecting your privacy and your information is something we take very seriously. We implement industry standard security safeguards designed to protect your data. MicroData does not embed advertising (adware) in any of our software or materials.

Other sites

Some of our websites may contain links to other sites. We provide these links as a convenience to you and if you click on any of those links, you will be directed to that site. These external sites are not owned or operated by us. We would strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of those websites. We do not endorse, have any control over, and assume no responsibility, for the content, privacy policies or practices of any external sites or services. Children's Privacy

Our websites are intended for people who are 18 years of age or older. If you are not 18 years of age or older, we ask that you please do not submit any personal information to us. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18.
