IT Support Engineer I

If you've got 0-3 years of experience providing IT support to end users and are ready to build your career, we'd like to talk with you!

We have an immediate full-time opening for an IT Support Engineer I. In this position you'll routinely perform the following tasks:

  • Assist users by phone and in person with typical end-users tasks such as login issues, VPN and remote access, software installation, system maintenance and updating, peripheral configuration (printers, scanners, monitors, etc), network printing, & email support
  • Perform new desktop and notebook builds including OS installation, application installation, user migration
  • Troubleshoot typical end-user problems such as connecting to networks, wireless access, OS & application errors, hardware problems, security, & email.
  • Create and manage service tickets in our ticketing system
  • Update and maintain client documentation
  • On-site deployments, moves, & upgrades

Education and Required Skills Include:

  • An Associates degree or Certificate in computer technology or equivalent experience
  • A current Microsoft certification (MD100/MD101 suggested) or the ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge
  • Windows 7, 8, & 10 support experience including upgrades and migrations
  • Configuring and troubleshooting typical anti-virus and anti-spam applications
  • Setup, configuration, migration, and troubleshooting of e-mail clients in a O365, POP, IMAP, or on-premises Exchange environment
  • Networking skills with good understanding of DNS, WINS, and DHCP
  • Setup, configure, and troubleshoot network printing
  • Wireless client configuration and troubleshooting
  • Microsoft Office setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and best practices
  • Ability to assist with server/sys admin tasks 

Occasional travel (30-40 minutes typical) to client sites is required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. The position requires maintaining 30 billable and collectible hours per week. This is *not* a remote work position, so if you are not 100% able to work daily at our offices in Beverly MA, please do not apply.
