IT SUPPORT Engineer I: Full or Part-Time
If you've had a solid education in IT and some hands-on experience, we invite you to apply to join our team as an IT Support Engineer I.

We have an immediate opening for either a full-time or part-time IT Support Engineer I. Required skills include:  
  • Windows 7, 8, & 10 support including upgrades and migrations and on-site deployments
  • Configuring and troubleshooting typical anti-virus and anti-spam applications
  • Direct end user support with typical help desk issues
  • Setup, configuration, migration, and troubleshooting of e-mail clients in a O365, POP, IMAP, or on-premises Exchange environment
  • Networking skills with good understanding of DNS, WINS, and DHCP
  • Good working knowledge of Office 365 and user management
  • Setup, configure, and troubleshoot desktop and notebook computers
  • Setup, configure, and troubleshoot network printing
  • Wireless client configuration and troubleshooting
  • Microsoft Office setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and best practices
  • Assist with server/sys admin tasks
  • Manage service tickets in our ticketing system

On a daily basis the Engineer I serves as the first point-of-contact with MicroData clients either by telephone or on-site.

Position requires an Associates degree in a technology area or equivalent experience, 0-4 years of progressive experience providing customer IT support (internships will be considered as equivalent experience), and great communication skills including the ability to present technical information in an easily understood manner. A current Microsoft Administrator certification (Windows Server or Azure) is preferred. Occasional travel (30-40 minutes typical) to client sites is required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

The position requires maintaining 30 billable and collectible hours per week.

IT SUPPORT Engineer II: Full or Part-Time
If you're an IT Pro that's ready to switch from sitting in a cube 8-hours a day to actually designing, deploying, and supporting IT environments for small/mid-sized organizations, we'd like to talk with you!

We have an immediate full-time or part-time opening for an IT Support Engineer II. Required skills include:  
  • Setting up, configuring, troubleshooting, and managing Windows Servers in a domain environment.
  • Specifying, configuring, and troubleshooting routers, switches, wireless, and other infrastructure components
  • Setup, migration, and management of Office 365
  • Basic Azure configuration & management (AZ-104)
  • Email migration to O365
  • Server Hyper-V virtualization
  • Application deployments and upgrades
  • Backup configuration, management, and troubleshooting
  • Security review, configuration, and remediation

On a daily basis the Engineer II serves as a Team Lead for an assigned pool of customers and in this role will work directly with client management to manage the relationship.

Position requires a college degree in a technology area or equivalent experience, 3-5 years of progressive experience providing customer IT support, and the ability to present technical information in an easily understood manner. A current MCSA, MCSE, or Azure Administrator Associate certificate is preferred. Occasional travel (30-40 minutes typical) to client sites is required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

The position requires maintaining 30 billable and collectible hours per week.

Benefits include health, dental, 401K, a Section 125 plan, paid vacation & sick/personal time, and participation in the MicroData Performance Compensation Plan which offers the opportunity for quarterly bonuses of up to 12% of base for achieving and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
