Basic Care, Requirements

Basic Care is designed to work with the equipment you already have whether it's the latest Windows 7 powerhouse or a basic Windows 98 computer. A file server is not required.

System Requirements

• Windows 98 or higher*

• 50 MB of free disk space

• 128MB of RAM

• Internet connectivity (does not need to be continuously connected but must be periodically connected for maintenance and remote work tasks to be performed)

• Servers are not supported with Basic Care. Please see Essential Care or Essential Care Plus if your organization has file servers.

Tip: If you have computers at home, install a copy of ARIES on them too. Covered systems don't have to be on the same network or in the same location.
