Automated Maintenance with ARIES

With viruses, spyware, phishing scams, and malware constantly threatening your network, keeping systems up to date with the latest patches and bug fixes is critical. Basic Care includes MicroData's exclusive and powerful ARIES agent for your computers. ARIES evaluates system 24x7 and appropriate critical updates are applied and verified. All silently and without interrupting users.

And every covered computer undergoes a comprehensive service regimen every night so that when users arrive for work in the morning, their computers are always running at peak performance. It's like getting a tune-up on your car every day!

Endpoint Security Monitoring and Management

Basic Care includes antivirus and antispyware software - all at no extra cost! And if you already have antivirus software, Basic Care works with what you have, providing 24x7 monitoring of proper performance and operation. If a computer's antivirus software malfunctions or crashes, ARIES will quickly diagnose and correct the problem.

Free Online Backup

Every computer in your network gets 2GB of free online backup at no additional charge.

Application Monitoring and Management

ARIES watches all the installed programs on every computer. If an application crashes or fails, the problem is logged, analyzed, and corrected, or if the issue is unknown or more involved, ARIES will notify both the MicroData network operation center and you,  providing helpful diagnostic information to assist in troubleshooting further.

Workstation Monitoring and Management

ARIES is also continuously checking the health of every computer system, 24 hours a day. In many cases, ARIES will alert you to a problem before it occurs.

• Hard drive about to die? ARIES will tell you!

• Disk almost full? ARIES will automatically see if it can free up space and if not, ARIES will tell you!

• UPS battery dead? ARIES will tell you!

Powerful Reporting

Each month Basic Care gives you a comprehensive network status report which includes:

• an executive summary and score to show you the overall health of your network at a glance

• a summary of all the work performed under Basic Care during the month

• overview of problems that ARIES has detected and automatically corrected

• a detailed hardware and software inventory of all your computer systems

• a summary of alerts that represent issues that may need to be addressed in the future

Optional Access to Skilled MicroData Engineers

We understand that no matter how comprehensive the tools included with Basic Care, sometimes there will be situations that require the assistance of a skilled professional. While you may have an employee or an IT support company you already work with, as a Basic Care customer you have the option of having a skilled MicroData engineer assist you.

With Basic Care, we can not only review comprehensive information about any covered system, we can also remotely connect to any computer and troubleshoot and resolve problems - just like we were seated at the keyboard.

Calls for MicroData technical support are charged at $100 per hour with a 15 minute minimum. That's a 25% discount from the regular rate. It's fast, convenient, and economical.
